Prous Institute has been
invited to speak at the 136th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society ofJapan (March 26-29, 2016) to be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center.
The Pharmaceutical Society
of Japan promotes the development of pharmaceutical sciences among its more
than 20,000 members, which include chemists, physicists, biologists, and a wide
profile of life science specialists who contribute to health and welfare
through creating, producing, supplying and prescribing medicines.
During the event, Josep
Prous, Jr., Ph.D., Vice President Research and Development, will present “Knowledge Management Challenges in Modern
Drug Discovery”, highlighting the applications of predictive technologies in
biomedical research.
The talk is included in the symposia
“Strategic In Silico Approach to Overcome Drug Development Stalemate” organized by Prof. Noriaki Hirayama from
Tokai University
Dr Prous, Jr.
commented: “we are very pleased to participate in this prestigious conference
and be able to share with this audience of pharmaceutical researchers how in silico
solutions can help prioritize clinical candidates by identifying toxicity and
safety issues early in the development cycle.”
