Prous Institute for Biomedical Research Awarded Innovation Prize by American Chamber of Commerce

Barcelona: Prous Institute for Biomedical Research was the prize winner in the category “Innovation at the Core: Contribution to Sector Growth” at the first Trade & Innovation Awards held by the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain, AmChamSpain.  The awards seek to promote transatlantic relations and drive the internationalization of business as an engine for economic recovery, as well as to acknowledge the work by U.S. and Spanish businesses in favor of these objectives.

Dr. J.R. Prous, Founder and President of Prous Institute, who was honored to receive the award at the event celebrated in Madrid and chaired by the U.S. Ambassador to Spain, Hon. Alan D. Solomon and the President of the American Chamber in Spain, Mr. Jaime Malet, stated “The recognition this award represents strengthens our commitment to finding better and safer drugs through the use of our computational technologies”.
